I like to keep a design in the works between my customers orders, and this one kept popping up in my head. I wanted to create a smaller 2ct to 3ct Floating Twig design. I usually work with 3ct up to 8ct depending on what customers like but these are for my size 3.5 to 6 ring size customers or just want a smaller ring.

This is a pretty 2.48ct white natural rough diamond with twigs but the diamond is floating.

My Floating Designs are just that...they look like the diamond is floating. I love being able to see all round the diamond, which also allows more light to hit the diamond plus it's just really cool. 

The cast-in-place process allows me to make minimal wax contact with the diamond. Traditional settings require 4 to 8 prongs depending on the stone but using this process, I can use as little as two twigs to hold my stones in place.

Another unique quality to my process, is the band, I can sculpt my wax without creating a traditional setting. Since it's all by hand, I can create a beautiful twig design on the botton of the diamond as well as the top.

Depending on my schedule, this wax model should be completed in about two weeks prior to casting the ring. It will be available in 14k or 18k White, Yellow or Rose Gold.
